The White Rabbit returns, looking for Alice, but she escapes. Confused and worried, Alice runs into a wise Caterpillar, who reminds her that she should be patient and live each day for itself. The Queen is furious that Alice has won, but Alice bravely stands up to her and tells her about all she’s learned in Wonderland, even though she doesn’t yet have a job. Just as Alice goes to choose her prize she is jolted back to the real world and realizes she is ready to go home and confront her mother. Her family is so happy that she’s home and proud of Alice for the lessons she’s learned.
